Ash Trees Surgery

Ash Trees SurgeryAsh Trees Surgery is a well established NHS dispensing General Practice in the North Lancashire market town of Carnforth. We have over 15,000 registered patients. We have 10 GP partners and  3 part-time salaried GP doctors. We employ a practice manager, two nurse practitioners, three practice nurses, a treatment room nurse, three primary care support workers, one phlebotomist, a clinical pharmacist and trained dispensary assistants in our dispensary and full team of administrative staff.

We are a training practice and often have GP registrars, 4th year and final year medical students from both Liverpool and Lancaster University medical schools.

The practice is forward thinking and highly computerised; we aim to use information technology innovatively to enhance the care of our patients. We are part of Lancashire North Clinical Commissioning Group (LNCCG). Our main surgery is Ashtrees surgery in Carnforth, from where we provide services for Carnforth, Warton, Over Kellet, Nether Kellet, Burton-in-Kendal, Yealand Conyers, Yealand Redmayne, Priest Hutton, Borwick, Gressingham, Aughton, Arkholme, Docker, Slyne, Hest Bank, Caton, Brookhouse & Claughton. We also have 3 branch surgeries in the surrounding villages of Bolton-le-Sands, Silverdale & Halton.

Click here for the map of the areas covered by the surgery.

If you change your name, address or telephone number, please let our receptionists know.

We regret that if you move outside the practice area you will need to find a doctor in your new area. There are instructions on what to do when you move to a new area on the back of your NHS medical card.
